Aurum Jewels is a South Australian family owned and operated business, celebrating 22 years of operation and decades of staff experience. Starting out at Norwood in 2002, moving to Hyde Park in 2004, adding stores in Adelaide (2009), Mosman (2013), and finally now (2023) at the corner of Adelaide Arcade and Gays Arcade, between Rundle mall and Grenfell Street in the City of Adelaide.
Aurum brings you a beautiful hand-picked collection of jewellery from Australia and around the world. We specialise in south sea pearls, diamond, gold, silver, and custom designed jewellery, and we source from a huge range of precious and semi-precious gemstones. We carry some exclusive ranges from Europe’s most prestigious manufacturing jewellery houses, including Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. We have a wide range of jewellery services available including repairs, rethreading, and insurance replacement quotations.

Brigitte Zollo
Brigitte Zollo sets the agenda for style at Aurum Jewels which is located at Shop 23 in Adelaide Arcade. Having over 40 years of industry experience, she exudes the spirit of Jewellery in Adelaide, and is often referred to as “Adelaide’s most stylish jeweller”.
Brigitte’s family was engaged in Opal mining and manufacturing for the European market. She formally achieved her gemmology certificate, a preliminary requirement to register as a licensed valuer, which she achieved in 1985. Part of her apprenticeship was working with Ann Middleton at Chez Jewels, at Burnside Village. In those eighteen years at Chez Jewels, she saw the very best of gemstones and jewellery, particularly hand-crafted jewellery, that Adelaide had to offer.
Her trajectory as an independent shop owner commenced as Casa D’Oro, (House of Gold) on Norwood Parade in 2002. Since then, her career has included operating her own successful business in Australia’s most affluent, and demanding market in Mosman. Through Aurum, she has learned to anticipate, and cater for what women want in jewellery.
Francesca Zollo
Despite being our youngest team member, Francesca already has 12 years experience in the industry.
Accompanying (mother) Brigitte to any available workshop, including visiting Pomellato and Pasquale Bruni in Milan, Francesca’s passion for jewellery and design, continues to grow, with a focus on what nature provides.
“Human beings can make anything, it’s what nature creates that brings me joy”
Working in the family business since 2010, Francesca spends most of her time in the garden -or working on the many creative projects she excels at, often being inspired by the native flora and fauna in her environment.
“It’s from gardening that my love of stones begins, like a rare flower, with the right minerals and environment (conditions), a beautiful stone will emerge”
An old soul at heart, Francesca effortlessly melds the old with the new, with a knowledge set, well beyond her years.
